Scott has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and investment. He has held senior executive level positions for institutional, private, multi-state development and investment companies, (First City Properties, Inc. – Belzberg family, Casden Properties LLC – Alan Casden, and Griffin Real Estate Management – Griffin family). Scott has directed the proactive management of the business operations including corporate strategic business planning, project feasibility, underwriting, and project management. Scott has also managed all aspects of the financial and analytical reporting functions. Scott has managed balance sheets with assets of more than $4B.

He has led acquisitions, dispositions, and management of multi-family, student housing, industrial, retail, and self-storage commercial properties. Scott has specialized in underwriting, financing, and managing large-scale master planned communities, multi-family, and commercial properties. During his career, he has negotiated over $4.0 billion of corporate and project financing including traditional debt, joint venture, private placement, and off-balance sheet structures, as well as formulating and capitalizing a privately owned apartment REIT comprising 90,000 apartments units.

Scott graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and California State University, Northridge. He is a CPA and alumnus of Deloitte and Touche.
